Serge Sorokko Gallery and Martin Ray Vineyards & Winery make for a perfect new pairing in downtown Napa. On June 23, the gallery and tasting room, which marks San Francisco–based architect Craig Steely’s inaugural Wine Country project, feted its opening with a private event. Amid American and European contemporary art by the likes of Hunt Slonem and Donald Sultan, guests — including Sonya Molodetskaya, Willie Brown and Peter Coyote — joined Serge Sorokko and his wife, Tatiana Sorokko, in sipping award-winning wine from Martin Ray.
“We are absolutely thrilled by the overwhelmingly enthusiastic response from those who attended our private opening reception,” said Serge Sorokko, whose San Francisco gallery is on Grant Avenue. “This gallery is more than just a place where art and wine coexist; it’s a testament to the harmonious unification of two sensual experiences. … Our hope is to inspire all those who enter the space, forging a new path for the appreciation and celebration of art and wine.”
