WHILE jaded downtowners were admiring Spike Lee's custom-designed baby blue Yankee cap — and his seven-months pregnant wite, Monica — the director was trying to look at the Studio 54 photos at the Serge Sorokko gallery in Soho. But there were so many Studio regulars at the opening the other night — folks like Ludovic Autet, Carmen D'Alessio, Guy Burgos and Nikki Haskell - it was hard to see the work of Patrick McMullan, Ron Galella, Christopher Makos, and their colleagues. So Lee came back the next day to peruse in peace.
