The Last Party: Nightworld in Photographs
Twenty years ago, on April 26, Studio 54 was born, with lights, cameras and plenty of action. The party may be over now, but the decadence lives on in these 261 photos of the goings-on at that club and others of the era. The show also traces nightlife through the other decades of this century up through today's club scene, with shots not only by the paparazzi but by Brassai, Diane Arbus, Lisette Model, Helmut Newton, Irving Penn, Weegee, Garry Winogrand and William Klein.
