Hot Designer: An Evening With Ralph Rucci

Ralph Rucci is the only American designer since Mainbocher to be invited to join the Paris' Chambre Syndicale de Haute Couture. Not only is Rucci a respected haute couture designer, he is also a talented painter as well. Rucci's collections are sculptural yet luxurious, adapting his artwork into the fabrics.

 

Serge and Tatiana Sorokko recently welcomed Rucci to San Francisco with a private reception in his honor at the Serge Sorokko Gallery, where Stylehive had a chance to learn more about what makes the talented artisan tick.
