Exhibition opening of Hunt Slonem, American Neo-expressionist artist, has taken place at the Marble Place, [The Russian State Museum], on May 25. The show will be on view through June 26.
Hunt Slonem, who has come to St. Petersburg to attend the exhibition, has made a personal appearance at the exhibition's opening party. The artist was welcomed by Evgeniya Petrova, Museum's Deputy Director in charge of Research, as well as Alexander Borovsky, Head of Department of New Trends, and Anton Uspensky, leading art expert at the Russian Museum.
The honored guests included Mr. Thomas Leary, Consul General of the United States, and Mr. Serge Sorokko, owner of the Serge Sorokko Gallery.
The exhibition will run through June 26.
