NEW YORK –In conjunction with the release of Anthony Haden-Guest's book The Last Party, the Serge Sorokko Gallery (430 West Broadway) is mounting its first show, "The Last Party: Nightworld in Photographs." The show runs from April 2 through May 3 and features images of nightlife spanning the century by such artists as Diane Arbus, Brassai, Helmut Newton, Irving Penn and Weegee, whose 1944 photograph, At Sammy's in the Bowery, is shown above.
